How to save an email photo to iPad/iPhone Photo. Tap and hold on photo no longer works!

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

Tapping, holding then letting go should still work. If it doesn’t, on the iPad you could drag and drop the photo into Photos.

I can drag and drop on the iMac but not on an iPad. Or at least not on my Air2.

The tap and hold on an image still works and if your iPad Air 2 is on iOS 11, drag and drop should work on your model iPad with iOS 11.
