how do i change iCloud password?

My computer is not connecting to iCloud.

When I put in my password for my Apple ID, it is not accepted.

SO: I changed the password for my Apple ID, after sending a request and getting an email on how to do so

My computer is still not connecting to iCloud. The little wheel keeps spinning around.
