Question: How to recover a video filmed in Photo Booth

I recorded a large video assignment for a midterm with Photo Booth (which I've done before) and it didn't save. Any idea how to recover it?

See this article Take a photo or record a video in Photo Booth - Apple Support

You can save photos and videos by exporting them. Single and 4-up photos are exported as JPEG files; video clips are exported as MOV files.

  • Export a single or 4-up photo or a video clip: Select the thumbnail, then choose File > Export, or drag the thumbnail to your desktop.
  • Export one photo frame in a 4-up photo: Select the photo frame, then choose File > Export, or drag the photo frame (not the thumbnail) to your desktop.
  • Save a single or 4-up photo without its effect: Select the thumbnail, then choose File > Export Original.
  • Add a photo or video to your Photos library: Select the thumbnail, click the Share button , then choose Add to Photos.
