is it possible to safely convert a jpeg of text into a Word document?

You're welcome. You only have the two choices I mentioned. Unless of course you want to type the text into Word yourself.


Since it's a jpg if you have to enlarge it at all that will make it blurry.

What do you mean by ‘safely’? Online OCR (optical character recognition) isn’t secure, as you give information away.

Offline OCR software has choices, with e.g. Prizmo being dedicated to just OCR.

You're welcome. Well, there are some that list themselves as free. Free OCR Online


As far as how they come out, I couldn't say since I've never used them. I imagine you might have to proofread the results.
