Does Apple Music make recommendations based on music in my library?

Hi,

From apple Page:

"Our recommendations are influenced by:

The music that you listen to from the Apple Music catalog.

What you tell us you love or dislike.

The genre and artist choices that you made when you first joined Apple Music."

What about if the music is not from the Apple Music catalog. Let say I rip the physical CD and uploaded to icloud music but never liked or disliked just listened to it. Does it count?

Yes, content that you have imported from CDs to your computer is uploaded to iCloud Music and incorporated into your Apple Music library and it is included in the content that is included in determining the recommendations for you.
