I had 3 hard drives on my old Mac Pro and it died. I removed a hard drive that has Windows 7 installed on it and placed it in a USB 3.0 enclosure to use as an additional drive. How do I get my iMac to boot from the USB 3.0 enclosure with windows 7?

windows itself does not support being installed on external hd's bootcamp does not support it

What year/model is your iMac (do not post the serial number)? There are driver differences between the two Macs, so it will unlikely not boot. Also, the connection changed from SATA to USB, which has other implications.
