Itunes $11.99 a month
Hi was wondering if i need to pay the $11.99 a month to itunes as i still need to purchase the music any way, we did not used to have to pay for this, what do i get for the $11.99 a month?

Manage your Apple Music membership - Apple Support - https://support.apple.com/HT204939 - "Learn how to change from an Individual membership to a Family membership, turn off automatic renewal, or join Apple Music later." Turn off autorenewal and your membership will finish at the end of the current subscription period.
You get to listen to all the music in Apple's collection as long as you subscribe. There's also a feature to put your music in your iCloud are so if you are away form home and desperately need to listen to a CD you own you can get access to a copy of it in iCloud.
You do not need Apple Music to purchase music.
