iPhone 8 Plus
Greetings, marissa197.
It appears that you're having some issue setting up your new iPhone 8 Plus. You're being asked for a password, and I'm happy to help.
Find My iPhone Activation Lock -- If you're being asked for a password to an Apple ID that doesn't belong to you, contact Verizon for help.
Here's how it works
When you turn on Find My iPhone on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, your Apple ID is securely stored on Apple’s activation servers and linked to your device. From that point on, your Apple ID password or device passcode is required before anyone can turn off Find My iPhone, erase your device, or reactivate and use your device.
Activation Lock is enabled automatically when you set up Find My iPhone.
If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled -- If you're being asked for a passcode instead of a password, you came to Apple Support Communities from the correct article. Use the steps provided to remove it.
Cheers!
Simply plug your phone into a computer. Then launch iTunes on the computer, and click on your device. Then click “Reset”. Doing so will reset your phone to factory settings. Good luck!
