Restoring using iCloud to new ipad

Started restore from lcloud on my new 5th generation iPad with ios11, four days ago. everything seems to have downloaded and working properly. However ipad says still downloading from iCloud and cannot update iOS nor backup to iCloud. Do I just wait and see what happens or should I stop the restore?

Restoring iPhone from iCloud backup Hello, Just bought the new iPhone XS and chose the option of restoring the backup of my previous iPhone 7 plus. It seems that every thing was indeed transferred to my new phone, but 24 hours has passed and whenever i want to upgrade the software to iOS 12 I still receive a message saying that "You can install this update when your iPhone is finished restoring from iCloud backup". I am sure my hone is already restored and I don't know how to continue. Thank you!

Restore from icloud I just bought IPhone XR to upgrade my iPhone 8plus but when I am going to restore from my iCloud back up (iPhone 8plus 12.3.2) it says the back up it’s not compatible with The new (iPhone XR 12.3.1) i tried to update the new iPhone XR to the latest version but it seems that 12.3.2 it’s only available for iPhone 8plus thanks for your help
