Question: Copy and Paste stopped working

Copy and paste stopped working all together, i have tried all the fixes from January's post and nothing is working. This started 3 days ago.

Is there anything else to try?

Hello AJ_SUD,

I understand that you're unable to copy & paste on your MacBook Pro. I copy & paste stuff all the time on my MacBook, so I understand your concern, and I'd be happy to help.

Let's start by having you start up into safe mode and test to see if the issue remains:

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac
If the issue remains while you're in safe mode, then next thing you'll want to do is to test on another user account:
How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac
If the issue persists on a test user account, reply back with the answers to the following questions.
1. Does this happen in all applications?
2. Did you update or add any new applications to your MacBook Pro right before this issue began?
