is there any way to reattach audio other than making a new compound clip? and: does making multiple compound clips (like, five or six compounded clips, one inside the other) slow down my program or degrade the quality of the final video?

Detach Audio From Separate Video Hey guys. I'm creating a video in iMovie for a school project. I used an image as a placeholder so I could record voiceovers. I now want to replace that image with legitimate images for the project. However, it's exceedingly annoying to go and attach the audio to a different clip, and it messes everything up when I delete the original image.
