Not able to use the basic feature of the phone ie to answer a call when phone rings

the issue i'm facing is the phone just freezes to home screen when i recieve an incoming call ( basically the phone rings) and i'm not able to answer the call . this happens for almost all the calls, and there is no solution to this issue since 16th Dec 2017. i have got my phone on 15th December and it had also been replaced once but the issue still exists. I need a permanent solution to this issue. Apple support says that they know about this issue but it has not been rectified yet. 90 days. 😟. pls help your user.

If the issue has presented itself in two different phones I would try restoring to factory settings and setting the phone up as new. Just make sure you have a good backup prior to doing this. Use it for a couple of days without restoring your backup. If the phone is working okay after being set up as new, try restoring the backup. If the issue persists when using your backup then there is probably something wrong with the backup.
