when I try to share the screenshot it stays on the preparing mode and it doesn’t go. I have to save the screenshot and go to the gallery and share it from there! Is it a bug in the software?

The screenshots might be shared when you take it with a long press at the thumbnail, or when you tap the thumbnail and choose "share". If it's not working at one app you can try to reinstall the app by erasing it, and downloading again from the AppStore. If you're having this issue at every apps, you might need to restore your software. For further instructions, follow the steps at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201252
