Question: How do I choose which number to send message to?

In Contacts, my wife has both our home number and her mobile number. I clicked on 'message', composed the message, and then sent it. I assumed it was going to her mobile number, but it never turned up on her mobile. Instead, when we got home, we got a call on our home phone, and when we picked it up, it read the message out.

How can I change this so that the message goes to her mobile number?

When you type the name of the contact that you want to send it shows you the relevant names and if there are more than 1 number on this contact it shows you the numbers as well. You just need to select the one you want to send.

Thanks. I've worked out a couple of ways to do it.

But it's strange that the most intuitive way doesn't work.

If I look up her name in contacts, then click 'message' it automatically sends the message to her home phone. There doesn't seem to be any way to change that behaviour.
