I cannot get past the Apple load up screen on iMac

It takes an age to reach the full load bar and then freezes. Tried overnight still stuck on the full bar and Apple symbol...

I have reinstalled the operating system

Ran the first aid

Spoke to someone at Apple, tried PRAM

any ideas what I can do I am getting desperate

iMac, iOS 11.2.6, Broken
