PLAYHEAD JUMPS

Hi,

I have sometimes problem with playback - only playhead is jumping cca about 14 frames, but video playback is smooth.

Any suggestions please? (FCPX 10.4)

Since when has the timeline moved with a static playhead during playback? I seem to be going mad this morning! Normally during playback the timeline stays still whilst the playhead moves. Only when the playhead comes to the end of the visible timeline does the timeline jump to expose a new section. However, my timeline is now moving whilst the playhead remains in the same position . . . well actually the playhead appears to be vibrating back and forth a few millimetres.

Blurry video during playback while editing When playing video while editing, it's blurry. However, when paused it's sharp. When playing the same video clip on other apps, such as Photos, VLC, or QuickTime, it plays perfectly sharp. Is there any setting I should change in Final Cut Pro to get sharp playback? I've attached screenshots here. The first two are of Final Cut Pro during playback and paused, while the third is from another app during playback. Photo Examples Many thanks! Dan
