reboot iPhone 7s

Thanks, but I knew how to do this - I was told by Apple Support (on a previous iPhone) that this was a "soft boot" and to do a more thorough shut-down/reboot, you would hold the side button and the home button, and it did a more complete shutdown/restart - this does not seem to work on the 7, and am wondering if that is no longer an option.
