How do I re-pair my air pods if in settings I chose to forget device?

I chose to forget my air pods device so someone could use them on their Iphone but now they won’t connect to mine. I reset my settings, and the pressed the button on the charging case and opened the top but they will not re-connect. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance!

Hello Lucianne27,

Thanks for using Apple Communities.

If you already forgot your AirPods in Bluetooth settings just open your AirPods case close to the iPhone and press the button at the back of the charging case. The iPhone must identify as a new AirPod and will pair with.

Hope this helps.
With Regards.
