I save all my photos in full definition; consequently, my photos are very large, too large to upload to another app--specifically, to use as an avatar.
I am a digital artist, working on an iPad Pro in Procreate. I'm trying to resize photos on my iMac.
I'm sure it's an easy fix...But I can't find it!
File -> export
At the Size dropdown select Custom and specify the maximum size you want in pixels

If you're worried about file size then use the JPEG Quality menu in the Export window to export a more compressed version of the image giving you a smaller file size.
If it's image size that concerns you then Terence's replay is the answer.
