Can anyone advise please, which is the best version of Microsoft Office to get or download onto my old 2012 MacBook Pro?

Your MacBook Pro is capable of running macOS High Sierra, and as such it can run Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac (which is the newest version), or even Microsoft Office 365 (subscription).

It's for my daughter who has my old 2012 MacBook Pro and is about to switch companies. She needs good software for Business Purposes.
