I have created one continuous video in iMovie 11 with 3 markers. Is there a way to use arrow keys in iDVD to skip within the same clip. I don't want to create menu buttons in iDVD except the Enter button.

Yes. In iDVD you can move from chapter marker to chapter marker by clicking on the forward/back or skip button when playing it in a DVD. If you are playing the iDVD project, do the same in the control box.

I gave up on MetaDoctor. Obviously it does not work in iDVD with the recent OSs. The company should give a heads up in their software description. I inquire them but I did not get an answer.
Anyway, in my quest I came across an excellent replacement for iDVD from the Apps store: DVD Maker Pro. It is a simple but very functional software, perfect mate for iMovie. For $25 you can’t beat it.
Instead of offering the trial version, the company offers a free Lite version which in effect is exactly like the Pro version. The only difference is that it places a watermark in the burning DVD.
Rich, I understand that iMovie 11 will transfer markers to iDVD. So if insert markers, I should be able to navigate with the control box back and and forth in iDVD, but this it’s not happening. I am working with one continuous movie but I am not able able to skip to different markers I set in iMovie. I must be missing something here.
The chapter markers in iMovie 11 (version 9) should carry over to iDVD. They always used to. Perhaps it is a matter of iDVD's increasing non-functionality in current OS versions.
For adding chapter markers, you might try the app called MetaDoctor that you can buy in the app store for $4.99. Others on this forum have reported that it works well. See if that resolves your issue.

Another thing -- You can add chapter markers within iDVD itself. You can't place the markers with precision, but can add them at time intervals of every 1 min, 2min, 3 min, etc, so that you can fast-click through the movie instead of laboriously doing a fast forward. When you add the markers, a scene selection screen sub-menu screen will pop up, but you can select and delete the screen selection button if you don't want to use it. You can still fast-click through the movie by clicking on the fast forward or skip arrow.
EDIT: To add the markers in iDVD, single click on the movie's link icon in the main menu screen, and then go to Advanced/Add Chapter Markers. A selection box will appear showing the time interval options.

Rich, I tried the iDVD chapter markers earlier but I was not what I was looking for. I got the MetaDoctor but it didn’t work with iMovie. It is nice and simple but it didn’t do it. Probably it works with other movie editors. If they can be reached, I plan inquire the tech support, and see what they got to say. Anyway, thanks for the help.
Thanks for posting back. Interesting that you couldn't get MetaDoctor to work, since I think it was designed to address the absence of chapter markers in iMovie 10. As far as I know the reports about its functionality with iMovie have been positive on this forum. Does the app have a troubleshooting or help forum?
If you have the old iMovie 6 on your computer, you could add the chapter markers there. Also, if you have GarageBand 6.0.5 that app will let you add chapter markers to your movie. The new version of GarageBand doesn't.
