how to get rid of gmail icon tab in safari

I don't know how I added these tabs, and now I have 6 of them. They are multiplying like rabbits and I can't get rid of them. Any ideas?

iCloud-OTHER, iOS 5.0.1

Finally figured it out. Hover over the tab and right click and it gives you the options to "unpin tab" or "close tab."

Glad to be rid of the extras!
