MacBook Air wireless speed super slow :(

my MacBook Air 13” Mid 2012 recently dropped from download speed test results on avg of 40 GB to speed Of .25 GB . Version is Sierra 10.12.6

i have a xfinitywifi account other devices work and operate normal . MacBook Air is only device experiencing super slow download speeds
