Did you update iTunes to the most recent version? If not, update iTunes and open iTunes with the iPhone connected. This will force iTunes to make the iPhone prompt you to confirm to trust it.

What is the problem? Can't you get past the prompt to unlock your iPhone?
Does the iPhone appear in the sidebar in the Photos.app? Or does the Mac do not see the iPhone?
We need some details - the system versions on your iPhone and Mac.
The iPhone appears in the side bar but I can't get pass the prompt to "unlock my iPhone". Mac version 10.13.3, iPhone 11.2.6.
