Is anyone having problems with their iCloud drive automatic uploads from a MacBook pro?

My MacBook pro is no longer uploading any of my files. I have tried everything and it still is not working. It has been non operational since February 6th 2018. Apple support cannot fix it either and it is virtually impossible to talk to someone who can do something about the fact that I am paying for it and it does no work.

I have to wait weeks to get an appointment at my local store. There is never an opening. I cant take a bunch of time off of work either.

So far I have been told that the apple "engineers" have my entire drive profile and a week of my computers activity and still they do not have an answer for me. I have spent hours on line with apple support and they have had me do numerous things while they monitored my desktop and nothing. They said that they have encountered problems like mine and that all they can do is try stuff. Really? Try stuff?

I find it extraordinary that when I asked them if It was fair that I am paying for iCloud and I cannot use they said it was not something that they can deal with. When I try to contact apple customer support all i get it an automated voice maze. It has been enormously frustrating.

Not sure what I can do at this point. Dropbox sure looks good about now. Pretty sad from a company like Apple.
