got a weird/spooky message saying my iCloud email is sending messages to or from Russia and ???? And I’m to call a 800 number immediately. Posting this so others know. I’m sure it’s a scam message. Anyways. Weird.

Apple will always address you by your name or the name they have on file for you and the e-mail will be from @apple.com or @iTunes.com. E-mail addresses can be spoofed. You can go to Mail/View/Message/Show all Headers to see more.

Appreciate the responses. Especially to know Apple will always address by name. This was a generic urgent message. No more messages, only that one. Thanks all.
