If you're asking if malware can implicitly traverse a Screen Sharing or Apple Remote Desktop (ARD/VNC/RDP) connection, no.


It is possible for insecure server configurations to be exploited, and it's also possible that insecure network connections can expose credentials.


And it's also possible for a user of a screen sharing app to explicitly copy software to or from the target; to use drag and drop.

Was a remote user allowed screen sharing access into a system?


Was screen sharing enabled into a server, with weak passwords?

On some related research that showed up just this morning... There are some Microsoft implementations with related weaknesses, and using a VPN or a not-weak ARD/VNC/RDP client and server implementation would avoid that. And AFAIK, that issue does not apply to macOS. But I'd still avoid having an open screen sharing port and open screen sharing connection exposed to the 'net in any case. Use a VPN.
