Logic Pro X - "Command not available because file is Read only"

I went into the Audio File Editor to change the Gain on a region and got this message... "Command not available because file is read only". I've never seen this before. Usually I'm able to edit regions with no problem. I went into FIle > Info and "Read & Write" is selected under Privileges. Has anyone ever seen this?

Sure. I've attached two screen shots... the warning dialogue, and the File>Get Info, which shows the permissions at the bottom. Here's a strange thing.... out of the 23, or so, tracks in this project, only one of them has this problem. All other tracks work fine.
