SECURITY ISSUE AND OUR HOT SPOT

IF YOU HAVE A MINUTE PLEASE READ——————————————————-

Hello, could you please tell me why Apple would remove security access of knowing who is logged into your network hotspot? Before, we could see that our son, our daughter, our laptop… Was using our network, hotspot. Now it only reads at the top on a blinking green bar “1 Connection, 2 Connections, 3 Connections”. There’s no way of accessing who the connections are or what the devices are that are connecting. Now Apple is saying that any device that has our Apple ID can login. Sure, that sounds reasonable enough, but I have now had six of your employees including two-tier specialists assisting me, none of which were ever made aware that this access has been removed, all trying to find out why I have multiple connections on my phone on a regular basis when I am only connected to one device via my hotspot and no other devices are around.

Those of us who have been faithful Apple users for a decade or more may start to wonder why we pay the price and use Apple at all if not for the safety factor. Isn’t this why we buy MAC products?

Your engineers could easily update our phones with the safety feature of being able to know once again who is using our hotspot. Please reconsider this serious safety concern that has been created by removing this access. Why continue to slowly drive faithful clients away by removal of safety features.

Thank you for your time.
