Final Cut Express does not work due to updating to High Sierra?
Final Cut Express on my iMac is not working apparently as a result of updating to High Sierra Version 10.13.3. What can I do to get it operating again?

Sounds right.
If you wish to use FCP Express, boot your Mac from an OS that will support 32 bit applications.
El Cap, Sierra, Mountain Lion etc.
