How can I sync my pdf/epub files from MacBook to other apple devices

I have quite some trouble with transfering my pdf /epub files from my MabBook to Ipad and Iphone.

I have 1 book that I bought from apple, they book is synced to all other devices. But the rest of pdf and some epubs are not. The matter is even worse that I can't even transfer them when I hook up the ipad with macbook and sync them via iTunes. The pdf files just simply don't appear on the list of available books despite that I choose on my macbook device to list all the books and pdf.

There are many different things to look at for this, and most likely why anyone hasn't replied in 3 days. As you know, it should work, therefore either something is corrupt, or one of the settings is amiss.

On the MacBook make sure all the files are there and they are able to be opened.

Plug in the iPad, go to the settings tab, you will only have the option to select the items to sync if you are not iCloud synching. Check the summary tab to ensure this is so.

Also, check to ensure you are using the latest versions of software on all your affected devices.
