iBook in PDF for notes not save

I am using iPad Pro . Start using Apple Pencil to write and highlight PDF in IBook. It was sad the work done on PDF had disappeared after few hours . I rewrite again and the latest work stay but the previous work written is gone again . Cannot trust! Despite I have paid the a monthly service for iCloud.

Markups on pdf in iCloud disappear I use my iPad (2019 12.9” pro) to annotate PDFs. The documents are all in iCloud and I open/annotate them in Files. Multiple times I have been pages into annotating a document and all my notes suddenly disappear and I am unable to reverse the action or get them back. This is infuriating as it has deleted hours worth of work. How to I stop this from happening or get my edits back when it has happened?

Mark up not saving Hi, i have an iPad with an Apple Pencil that I’ve been using since June to mark up PDFs. I find that if i exit the PDF and renter it only half? If the mark up saved, and if I then write on it and leave the PDF, only the new notes will save and the rest will disappear when I re open it from then. Is is this a function of mark up, to not be able to continue to do mark ups and have them saved? Or is it an iCloud thing? Or my iPad thing?

Issues using pencil notes on PDF I am facing a similar issue with a different application: Saved a pdf document on NOTES (iPad pro) and started taking notes with my pencil. Saved and reopened later taking more notes in the same document. When I have “done”, the new document saved missed part of my previous notes. Not all of them were missing. I am working wireless on a office wireless network. Sergio
