migration tool

A friend has just bought a new iMac. She wants to use the Migration tool to get the data from her Windows 7 laptop to the new iMac.

On the Windows 7 laptop, she downloaded the migration assistant and ran it, but on the iMac it says that the migration assistant is an OLD version and it will not use it.

What can be done?

Make sure she downloads Download Windows Migration Assistant v2.1.2.0
