Grey screen with a lock

I have an imac 2011 which I replaced the lcd flat cable after I damaged it by accident when I open the imac to clean it from so much dust.

When I started the imac, the screen went grey with a lock

It was asking me for a passcode or something to unlock it. I tried to reset it using all kinds of tricks like control plus option and so forth and nothing worked.

That is a firmware lock, you need to use the same password you used when you locked the drive. If you do not know it or cannot remember it then you MUST take it to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be unlocked.
