How to get iPhone X A1901?

Hi,

I was thinking of buying an iPhone X on vacation in the USA. I live in Europe and found out that the A1901 will work in my country (Czech Republic), since it has GSM.

So when I buy a SIM-Free iPhone X inside an Apple Store will it be the A1901 model? Or do I get to choose which one I want?
