HOW DO I DISABLE AIRPRINT FROM MY EPSON XP 530 TO ALLOW DRAFT MODE

i want to use draft mode on Epson EXP 530 but the printer is configured with Airprint and this prevents the draft mode. How do I disable Airprint which I do not use.

Mac Pro, iOS 11.2.6

System Preferences/Printers & Scanners - delete the printer, then add it back choosing a different driver option.

I DO NOT want to use AirPrint with my Epson ET-8550. How do I prevent this from automatically happening? Bought an Epson ET-8550 and do not want AirPrint handling color management. I have watched Keith Cooper's installation video and Jose Rodriguez's. Both say don't allow AirPrint to be selected as driver but how do I prevent that? Airprint It's well known that the individual ICC profile for paper and printer combo produces excellent prints. It seems that Airprint doesn't correctly print The Adobe colour printer utility, so ICC profiles can't be read and generate the correct paper profile. How can Airprint be disabled, or is the best route to hard wire the printer instead of printing via wifif?
