Incompatability Google Calendar and iCal.

I use a gmail address for my AppleID and am unable to receive calendar invites from another gmail address to my iCloud calendar.

So, my brother uses google calendar, sends an invite to my gmail address, which I use for my AppleID. I can only accept this invite into my google calendar (which I don't use).

And I would like to accept it in my iCal.

Any ideas?

iCal Not Supporting Delegation to My Gmail Accounts (And Even iCloud) Hello! I don't know why iCal suddenly does not support delegation on my Gmail Accounts, and even my iCloud. This is my calendar so far. As it can be seen, the Gmail accounts don't have calendars inside them. I'll explain the issue on iCloud later on. It all started when I attempted to add another event in Google Calendars and expected the Google Cal and iCal to sync, but it did not. After that, I refreshed Google Calendar (View > Refresh Calendars), but it didn't work. I then deleted and re-added the accounts, and it still didn't work. (Gmail Account 1) (Gmail Account 2) In the first picture, iCal was able to display my iCloud account's calendars. But when I took a look at Preferences, iCal said that it was also not supporting delegation on this account. (iCloud) Please Help. Thanks!

Adding Google Calendar invites to Calendar app I have received an event invitation from Google calendars via email (gmail account). I can open the file attached "invite.ics" on my iPhone and it's displayed as a normal iphone calendar invite, but I can't find a way to accept it and add it to my iPhone calendar. Can anyone explain to me how I can accept Google Calendar events and have them added to my iPhone calendar app please? (First asked here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251377922)
