When I look up that app in the App Store, the developer has not yet updated it for iOS 11 compatibility. They say that an update is forthcoming, but not when (the current version was released a year or so ago). So right now, that app is not 64-bit compliant and so cannot run in iOS 11.

If you have the email receipt for it, there should be a link in it to report a problem and request a refund. If not see this - Get help with an item purchased from the App Store, iTunes Store, or iBooks Store - Apple Support
Thanks. Yes, I am well aware. Forgive me. I guess I should have been more explicit and stated the fact that the Android Version of the Ships Clock Pro App from Weems & Plath, (which was free), works very well on my old LG Phone running Android 4.2. However, the same app, in the iOS version, ($.99), from the APP Store, wasn’t working on my iPhone 6 running iOS 11.2.5. I was hoping that perhaps there might be another Nautical Type, World Sailor, Ex-Navy, Yachtsman, etc., that was familiar and preferred to be able to keep track of the time of day by the sound of the chimes or bells of the ships clock, rather than having to take their phone out of their pocket.
Aloha Michael,
Thank you for replying to my question. Despite my years and various degrees in I.T. , most of my knowledge is based on PC & Android, and if it weren't for one of my daughters giving me her iphone 6 (she got an X), I probably wouldn't be having to teach this old dog new tricks. It's OK, I need to keep challenging myself. Again, I appreciate you for your time & information. I'll go back to the App Store & try to get a refund for an app that should not have been allowed to download to my phone. Strange...
Mahalo
Android apps don't run on iPhones.
If you downloaded the app for the iPhone from the app store and it's not working, contact the app developer for support.
Yes, I got it. Bought app a couple of days ago and was sent a receipt. Thanks for the link too. Mahalo Plenty for all your help!
Aloha
