Question: finder issues in high sierra

I can't delete files with Command+delete button when I try to delete the file via the menu sometimes "move to trash" option is not even available. Also my dropbox files dont appear in the finder while I am connected to the dropbox directory and all the files are available online.

Any ideas?

Regarding the problem with deleting files:

Does this occur for a different user, e.g., Guest?

Does this occur after starting up in Safe Mode?

Consider the possibility of a third party software conflict. EtreCheck can be used to investigate what is installed.
