group chat changed members names

I have a group message with my daughter and husband. We customized the group name and we really like using it. I have noticed recently that when I scroll back thru the thread, instead of seeing their names above something they said, it now says: chat284406343134842108. Then further back in the thread is switches back to their names.

Anyone know why?
