alarm clock

I have created an Alarm App using automator, the alarm.app is configured to "Starts iTunes Playing". I set the alarm time a few minutes ahead of my current time to test the calendar event and it works everytime. Now I change the event time when I get up and nothing happens. I get a notification from Calendar called "Startitunes" which is the name of my calendar event but iTunes does not start. This is on my MacMini and I am running Amphetamine to prevent sleeping. How can I get iTunes to play at a set time?
