iPod Touch 6

I have a brand new iPod Touch6. When playing music with earbuds in, it often stops. I need to unplug, plug them back in, and then it resumes play. (This seems to be mostly while using iHeart Radio; it hasn’t happened as much when playing saved music.) Our house is totally wireless and we have a Bluetooth adapter on our stereo system. Our WiFi speed is also fairly high. This is VERY frustrating – help anyone?!?!?

iPod touch, iOS 11.2.1, Unsure of exact OS at this time.

iPod touch frequently and continuously drops Bluetooth connection I recently upgraded the OS on my iPod Touch to 12.1.1. Everything had been working perfectly with Bluetooth between the iPod and my car's sound system, headphones, and Wonderboom bluetooth speaker prior to this update - for years - but since the update I cannot get more than a couple of minutes of connectivity to any device at all before it drops out. It usually (but not always) reconnects after 5 to 10 seconds, and usually (but not always) automatically resumes playing where it left off. There are no answers whatsoever that I can find anywhere to similar issues except blurry "reset your iPod" type statements and laying blame on the receiving device. This is not the answer I'm looking for - it's the usual IT response when there's no known solution. Apple Support are spectacularly poor at the moment when it comes to iPods, seeming to have shifted their music focus to Apple Music, which they expect everyone to access via phones, tablets and computers. I've tried shut down and restart, removing the bluetooth connections and re-creating, tinkering with other settings, but nothing helps.

iPod When I put iPods in my ear, the music automatically starts. I tried all the solutions given in various forums, without any success. I did setting->Cellular->Music - off. I also did autoplay off in Music app. This is not only annoying but very disturbing when I receive phone calls and connect iPods to connect those calls. The music starts automatically and I can't hear anything else. Moreover, the music starts in the background so it is very hard for me to turn it off. Few times, my important phone calls got disconnected while I was trying to stop the music. Any help is appreciated.
