Can't remove members from family sharing after changing my phone.

I set up family sharing for my kids as a way of managing their purchases and keeping an eye on what they wanted to download. When I sold my iPhone I forgot to remove the family members from the group and now, I don't have an Apple phone anymore, I'm a bit stuck! My Wife has an iPhone, so I want to make her 'family admin' but I can't remove the kids from the group. When I send an invitation from the Wife's phone, it tells me that they are already member of a group. If I sign in as me on my son's new iPhone and try to disband the group, the option is greyed out!

I'm stuck, please help?!

iPhone 6s, iOS 11.2.6

I suspect you're going to have to ask Apple Support to disband the family for you, although you might be able to sign into your Apple ID temporarily on your wife's phone and do it from there. See Leave Family Sharing - Apple Support and make sure that any shared data has been captured somewhere.

This may be the problem. Is your son under 13?

Move a child to another group using Family Sharing - https://support.apple.com/HT201080 - "While you can't remove a child under 13* years old from your family group, you can move them to another group."

What happens if you try to log in to iCloud.com with a web browser? Can you configure it from there? I rarely log in that way so I do not remember if I saw it there last time.

Care to go into a bit more detail? I'm logged into iCloud on my PC and it tells me that I can manage Family Sharing from an ios device (can't, it's greyed out) or from a Mac (don't fancy spending a grand on a Mac to sort this issue).

I don't use a PC so I don't know the details on this. If you are using a browser maybe these will help?

Edit: I guess those do not have Family Sharing capability. You may have to find a way to do this through Apple hardware.

Can't do that either. When I invite from my Wife's phone, it says that he's already a member of a group and has to leave that 1st! Just wiped my son's phone as setup as if it's mine. When I got to family sharing on the phone, the 'stop sharing' option is still greyed out!!! Aaaahhhhh! Now I rememebr why I got rid of my iPhone!!
