Question: Can I really not get a refund on a song I accidentally purchased?

I accidentally purchased a song that had a similar title as the one I actually wanted. I haven’t even listened to it because I didn’t want that song. I really didn’t meant to purchase it.

Answer:

While the iTunes Terms of Service say that all purchases are final, you can go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com, log in with the Apple ID used for the purchase, and see about requesting a refund. If that does not work, you can contact iTunes Support and ask them. The final decision is up to them. iTunes Store - Contact Us - Apple Support

I once got a refund but it was when I bought the wrong version of a song and had also bought the right version.

Remember, they can't actually take it away from you. These matters are a question of honesty and the refunds would usually be on a once only basis. Probably not, but have you had a similar situation in the past.
