New Table Style is not saving attributes.

I created a table and set my headers with the colors and font. I go to table styles and click the plus button while I have my table selected. Then I try to apply that style to a new table and it is just a generic white table with no heads or color. What am I doing wrong?

Problems with shading behind font I am trying to create a simple table in Pages. I want the header column and row but I am having a hard time eliminating shading behind letters that I type. You will see some rows have no problem (row 2 not a problem). But when I type in row 4 bad crap. I tried going into CHARACTER STYLES and say "None" but that does not work. Is there a way to fix this? Is this something to do with character styles? Is there a way to change to NO STYLE. All I want is a simple table. I want to spend more time in generating the analysis for the table instead of Pages wrapping me around it's complexities. Thanks in advance.

Formatting so the table does not show its 'out line' Hello, When you click in the void of the 'white space' around the table, the formatting outline disappears. How can I make that disappear even when the table is selected? For example, the two images are of the table selected and un-selected. Once I select the table, the formatting outline appears and I want the formatting outline to not show when I click (or select) it or I want it to look like the "un-selected" table even if it is selected. Thank you.

Aligning table with other table and text Hi, Out of the sudden (after an update?) some tables (the blue one in here) are not aligned anymore with the other tables and text. Do we have a fix for this? Thanks, Stephan
