Question: Receiving duplicate emails

I have an iPhone SE and for some reason I am receiving duplicate emails. They will come at the same time, one on top of the other. I am running iOS 11.2.6. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello dburnham51,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

I understand from your post that you are receiving duplicate emails. In a situation like this you may have the same email account set up twice. Go to Settings > Accounts & Passcodes and see if your email account is listed twice. If the account is listed two times, choose which one you want to remove and delete it using the steps from the article below:

If you can’t send or receive emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
  1. On your iOS device, go to Settings > Accounts & Passwords.
  2. Tap the email account that you want to remove.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
Best Regards.
