Can't open Numbers files now March 2018- What happened?

I've read about the problems some users had after they upgraded to High Sierra. But I did that months ago and I've opened my numbers spreadsheets many times with no problem.

Today I tried to open a Numbers file that was more than a year old. Couldn't do it. Tried to access the earlier versions in iCloud backup. didn't work.

Now I can't even access the newer Numbers file that I use every day.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Hi Bob,

You ask, "WHAT HAPPENED?" but neglect to provide any information that woul help determine the answer to that question.

What steps did you take to open the file? What responses did you get from your Mac?

More basic information would include the version numbers of Numbers (Numbers menu > About Numbers)

and OS X/macOS (Apple menu > About this Mac) you are using.

Answers may differ for different combinations.

Regards,

Barry
