Wondering about updating my mid-2012 MacBook Pro to High Sierra. Any potential problems?

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12.6), 16 gb memory 2x1tb ssd drives

Do you mean it will run faster or slower and what do you base that on considering you know nothing about the system specs other than it has 16GB RAM and 2 SSDs nor the third party apps installed?

I think it will run High Sierra just fine given what we know.
