Anyway to bypass activation lock? Bought an iPad off of Craig’s list and it’s worked fine , all of a sudden it locked me out? All I can think of is that the people I bought it from called and said it was stolen or something because I have no way in it? Their Apple ID is still in it

Activation lock Long story short I purchased an iPad from someone and don’t have access to it because they haven’t removed it from their iCloud account. I’ve tried contacting them but they said that it wasn’t theirs and that they just buy and sell them. The iPad isn’t blacklisted and it’s carrier unlocked but I can’t use it. Activation Lock I just bought an Ipad but its locked- It says THIS IPAD IS LINKED TO AN APPLE ID. Im unable to contact previous owner. How do i get in? If i went to the store will they help? I dont have proof of purchase. Please help.
