iMac & MacOS shutting down at night.
I have been using Macs since 1984 and as of recently am stumped with a problem.
My iMac logs me out every night and requires me to log back in every morning.
This is exasperating as it also makes me reenter passwords for all my email accounts and apps.
I have checked all my preferences and have not found a way to stop this.
I have disabled auto logout and sleep. I have only set the sleep for the display to start after one hour of non-use. this should not put the computer itself to sleep — unless Apple now interprets the all-in-one computers at a display.
The computer going to sleep should not automatically log you out.
Does anyone know a way around this problem? Is there a Terminal command for this?
